“ I’m originally from San Diego and moved to the tri valley recently. Been trying to find a carne asada fries spot for a while. Stumbled upon this place via google. They offer something called the “east bay munch”. Fries, carbs asada, sour cream, cilantro, onion, guacamole, queso, tomato’s, and jalapeños. Generally foods good. For $25, the volume at least matches where it can feed 2-3 people. Depends on how hungry you are. My critiques are the fries are soggy. Even if it’s pre frozen fries. Hitting it with a higher temperature would make this a more enjoyable temperature to get a texture contrast. Also, they offer “yellow or white cheese” I did half and half to see what it was. “Yellow” cheese is basically nacho cheese. “White” cheese was mozzarella. The mozzarella has a “cheese pull” and way better of a flavor. The “yellow” cheese just adds more sauce on top of the sour cream that makes the fries more soft. Overall good meal, can’t complain but wouldn’t order this again as is. Might come back to try the tacos and burritos. Friendly and helpful staff. ”
“ Overall very good. Won’t be disappointed. Clean simple flavors. Salsas could use some more flavor (pinch of salt)but not a deal killer. Affordable and plenty of seating. Only thing that threw me off was the building from the outside looks like an old ranch house. Could use some better signage. ”
“ Sweet baby jesus this place is fantastic. This is the food they would serve in heaven if heaven had a Mexican restaurant. By far the best Mexican food I've had in my life. We split a few dishes between everyone at the table. Pork, beef and chicken were all spot on and delicious. Thank you for some amazing food. ”
“ This place was recommended to us, so we decided to check it out. We went later in the evening and had no wait at all. We ordered the pozole and a carne asada burrito, and both were really good. The pozole had a super flavorful, hearty broth, and it was nice that the toppings came on the side so you could add as much or as little as you wanted. The burrito was a solid size—I only made it through half and saved the rest for later. Overall, great food and a good experience. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. ”
